This is awesome. I have officially completed my first semester of college and completed it sucessful. I have to admit it was harder than I expected. This is perhaps because I was fairly lazy in high school and it was quite shocking when I realized I had to work and work hard to get good grades. That was a really depressing realization. Laugh if you will but it was quite tramatic for me.
Well allow me to tell you what I have decided.
1. I have decided to get my masters degree in library science with an emphasis in archives. Yes, I realize this sounds boring but it really suites my type A personality.
2. My job at the archives is amazing and I love it.
3. I definitlty have a superiorty complex but I am not the smartest person on Earth or anywhere close. One of the greatest things about this semester is that I have had my beliefs and my logic challanged and that has been good for me. I have never thought so much in my whole life. This means that college is so good for me.
4. Semester breaks are awesome.

Ode to Fall Break

I am so excited. My Fall Break will start in 2 hours and 38 minutes. I am so excited. I want ot go home so badly. I never thought I would say that and I am sure my post Fall Break post will basically consists of six paragraphs how my home life could be the basis of a soap opera but at the moment all I want to do is go home. I miss my bed and my dog. I miss my chinese resturant. It is amazing the little things that you miss so much when you move away from home. I was doing really good until I saw my sisters Saturday and then I wanted to go home. I really miss them. I miss my Mom braiding my hair. I quess what I really miss is being a kid. I feel like childhood is over and while it is exciting to be moving on I get a feeling of nostolga when I think of it. It seemed to fly by now that I look back just as I am sure college will have seemed to fly by when I look back on it in 15 years. Here are several reasons why:

1. Dorm Life- now I have had several complaints about dorm life but just be honest I kinda like it. You can have people over any time you want- nobody says anything. You can stay up as late as you like- nobody says anything. It is like your own apartment but there is food downstairs and it is easier to clean.
2. You can read whatever you want- there are no restrictions in college about what is decent reading or what is correct. You can study whatever you want without parents gripping about how "unacceptable" it is.
3. Boys, boys, boys. Having come from the most man deprived area of the nation all the guys are great. And it doesn't have to be romantic- you can just have guy friends and lots of them.
4. Shoes- I wear size 7 1/2-8. That means I have access to about 27 other closets of shoes and several other peoples wardrobes. Score!
5. Being away from home. I feel bad about saying this because I love my family but it is so great to be Anna- not someone's sister, friend, or daughter. There is so much less drama and well to honest I love being independent. I didn't go wild or crazy but being independent is great and I love it.

Towers East- Firefighter Summer Camp

I live in Towers east which is where they herd all freshman that just aren't special and extra-ordinary. Appearntly I am none of these things. So they place me in the basic crappy freshman dorm. In all actuality it really isn't that bad. I like the friendliness and social scene and I have enough quiet to do my work. But then there are those darn fire alarms. Already we are three alarms away from beating the record for the past year. Yesterday alone we had three fire alarms. THREE!! WHY THE HELL DO WE NEED THREE ALARMS?!?!?! Let me tell you why we have three alarms. They all come from the people who can't cook popcorn. Actually last night was the idiot cooking bacon at midnight. Bacon. Why do you even need to be cooking bacon in a dorm anyway? I dunno.
So the fire alarm goes off, the whole dorm goes out the side stairs and sits in the parking lot until the fire trucks get here about 15 minutes later. It is like a firefighting summer camp. No real danger but all the fun.

Week One

Well ladies and gentleman I have sucessfully completed my first week of college and let me tell you that hands down it is better than high school. I love it. I started my new job as a library assistant in the archive department of the library. Woo hoo. Remember people that I wanted this job since I plan on specializing in rare book collection in graduate school. Secondly I am now the book reviewer for the Capaha Arrow newspaper, which is the offical Semo newspaper. i am so pumped about that. Hands down the greatest job ever. All you do is read and then tell everybody what you thought about the book. Can life be any better?
My first review is on Away Laughing on a Fast Camel which you can read at www.appowell.blogspot.com. I decided I might as well use my old blog for something.
My teachers are pretty good too, except my Biology teacher who is a complete ass and I really don't like. But I have a hot preofessor and most of my teaachers are pretty funny whioch is nice. The one thing that will take getting use to though is all the reading you do in college. Massive amounts of reading. Which is ok unless you are reading about making a speech and that is kinda blah.
The only downside to college is the lack of guys. There is like no cute guys here which seems to be an uncommon problem as Hannah has already lander her a man, and a pretty good one it sounds like, and Bob is close. Which is cool since I would totally date either one of them if I was a dude but still here I am with no one cute to look at except my porfessors. Sigh. But I quess it really doesn't matter since I really don't want a man now anyway but still... I would like a cute one to look at.

Pep Rally

Yes tonight was my first Semo pep rally. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, considering all I saw when I walked in was a giant red bird and a large goup of cheerleaders and dancers who appearantly have something against covering their mid-driff. But they started off with these two cute geeky guys singing about Semo and Cape and who knows what else but it was hilarious so they will have my eternal devotion
But then they had to bring out the band, which in itself isn't bad but one can only handle the fight song about six times before its like "Stop! For the sake of Cod, STOP!!!" Then we brought back the Sundancer's. That's when it all went down hill( not that that's possible in Cape to go that direction.) First of all the chosen music was the Black Eyed Pea's, Gwen's Banana song, and Switch. Yeah I dont really need to go on because I am sure you are imagining the moves they were making. To make it all worse the moves didn't match the music.
Then we all stood and sang our alma mater songs which someone stole from the song " America the Beautiful." Yeah I think it is official that you can't rhyme Cape Girardeau with anything but that doesn's stop them from trying. After butchering a song that shouldn't have been written, we played the fight song one more time and left. Boy I feel spirit.

Move In Day

Well I am now officially moved into college. We left home at 5 this morning so we could be here for the early bird and I am really glad. It was a mad house here and ofcourse the elevators went out. But what can you expect considering each elevator had like 6 mini- fridges carried by 540 pound football players. I all ready love college-- it's like high school only with more variety.
And I will say this-- my roommate is actually pretty cool. She kinda reminds me of my sister Sarah. Yeah, it's weird. On the downside, I think my hermit crabs may have to go home. Sad I know.
Also my room totally kicks ass. I didn't think it would but it turned out pretty good. My roommate and I have alot in common so our room mesh's well and since it is clean right now, it actually doesn't seem too small. Well I am out. I am so tired...

Cases That I Would Love to See Judge Judy Handle

Sometimes in life people do stupid things. And they get caught. Then inevatiably it ends up in trial or in television. These are some cases that I would love to handle or to see Judge Judy handle.
Case Number One: Three women are accused of spanking a truck driver too vigorously at his birthday party. Appearently Mr. Truck drivers buddies brought him to the Sensations Night Club in Jacksonville Arkansas to celebrate his 31st birthday. His firends paid 25 bucks for him to get spanked and I quess it was too rought for Mr. Sissy Pants because he filed suit against the girls. But this is what gets me... the girls are charged with " felony charges of participating in an obscene performanced and misdemeanor charges of third-degree battery." (Yahoo News.) Hello... obscene performances. He was at a strip club for goodness sake. STRIP CLUB. Does it take a genius to see that this might have happened? On top of that how exactly do you regulate that because I personally believe that the Paris Hilton/Hardees commercial is pretty "obscene."
Case Number Two: In LA a man is in big dodo because he posted a sigh advertising "Vaginas R' Us." Appearntly Toys R' Us is very defensive of their name and won't allow him to use it in reference to vagina's. Imagine that...
Case Number Three: Now this is a coming up case. The police have actually notyet caught the ummm... culprit. Recently in San Francisco Bay there has been a nude swimmer walkign along and swimming in the bay. Naturally this upset tourist and business owners so they called the police. But the police can't seem to catch him. Here is my clue to the police... he is the naked one. I mean how many people do you have walking and swimming around there naked that you can't seem to single this one guy out?
Case Number Four: This is one Judege Judy would be all over. I cna see her snapping those fingers now. A man was recently arrested for sexually assulting a sleeping woman on a plane. The guy was sitting next to her and when she feel asleep he reached under blanket, unsnapped her pants, adn starting fingering her genitals. Hello dummy did you not think she might feel it? Anyway the girl woke up and turned the guy in..
And these are my top cases that I think Judge Judy should get.

Can You Smell That Glue?

Well everyone welcome to the new year... yes, yes the new school year has finally arrived in a blaze of heat, paper, and Elmer's glue. If there is one time of year that tree's dread it has to be the pre-school shopping time of year. I mean let's face it how many times a year can you buy 300 crayons, 8000 pieces of paper, 250 markers, 15 bottles of glue, and a partridge in a pear tree for $3.99 at you nearest Walmart? Where are the Earth Day people now is my question... If I was a good person I would be protesting but as it is I am buying my own stuff.
And as this is my first year of college I have decided to splurge and buy real school supplies. As a child my parent's bought my sisters and I the 10 for a dollar solid color notebooks and markers and the plain jane( speaking of which do people named Jane ever get offend by this?) pencils... you know the kind that come in a box of 285 and the erasers fall out the first day of school kind of stuff. But this year man I am going all out. I am going to buy the notebooks with the picures of Orlando Bloom and cool phrases like " Dude give me your tots" on them. ( Note from editor: The Napolian quotes must die if we are going to remain sane people.) The only thing I am not spluring on is my pens. I will still by the 38 cent pens because i tend to eat them when I get bored, tired, anxious, nervous, happy, sad, emotional, unemotional, ect, ect, ect... and I don't feel like eating money so cheapo pens it will be.
Now I suppose y'all are wondering what in hell this has to do with anything and the truth is this post has no value what so ever. However I am a declared nerd and buying school supplies is the highlight of my academic year so be on the lookout for an inventoried list of all my school supplies. Aren't you excited?

People Who Make me Feel Intelligent

There are people who can make me feel vry intelligent. Here is my example of the week:
Thomas E. Mark Nuckols, who is a student at Dartmouth, has begun selling a tofu-like food which he brilliantly calls Hufu. What makes this unique is that it is flavored to resemble the taste of human flesh. His target audience is those who already enjoy cooking with tofu, as well as any actual cannibals who might settle for artificial flesh in order to avoid legal problems. Nuckols said he has never tasted human flesh but based his recipe on cannibals' reported descriptions of the flavor. And he got into Dartmouth. Freaking Dartmouth.
But my main question is this... what makes you think of this. I mean do you wake up one day and say "Today I am going to replicate the taste of human flesh and I shall use..... TOFU?" I mean how do you think of this? And why? Seriously why???

Do You Need Towels? Sheets? Condoms?

What is it about going to college that makes everyone so concerned with all aspects of your life? Don't get me wrong-- I truly appriciate the money and gifts that everyone sent me for my graduation. I had no idea how expensive this college thing was but still there comes a point when all the advice has to end. Both of my parents have decided to give me the "talk." I'm actually kinda scared to inform them that I know all about the "S" word already. That could lead down paths I really don't want to go and stories that would leave me sleepless at night---
Then it got better. Several of my family members have talked to me about birth control. One wants me to go on the pill and the other told me that they would make sure I had plenty of condoms if I needed them. "Make sure you suit up before riding that bull" was I believe one discussion I had to endure. Whatever happened to "a man won't buy a cow he can get milk from for free?" As much as I disliked being compared to a member of the bolvine family, I find the 'boys have a penis and girls have a vagina' discussion much more disturbing when it comes from people that changed my nappy as a infant. I mean seriously it is very strange to be told "don't have sex" and handed a box of condoms in the same ten second time span and usually by the same person.
But on the upside I could host quite an orgy- and a safe one at that- if we wanted to get one organized.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://ohstuffandfluff.blogspot.com/2005/07/do-you-need-towels-sheets-condoms.html' title='Do You Need Towels? But if you marry and have sex then you or your spouse can and will be charged with being a pediophile. Hello why would you get married unless you wanted to have sex? I mean seriously did they not think that married people maight have sex?
While I am at it, does anyone actually believe this "cool mom" crap? The story she has is that she had sex with several of her son's high school friends because she was uncool in high school and now she wanted to be a cool mom. Yeeaaahhh. That's definitly why older women sleep with high school boys. Actually you could probably care less but darn it this is my blog so I get to bitch if I so desire. ( Note: I do relieze you aren't suppose to end with a prepositional phrase so when I become president we will have to nix that little grammer rule.) But on to my sad news. I am getting ready to move to Cape. This is a good thing. Unfortunitly this means I have to pack up my room. Do you know how depressing it is to relieze that all your memories can be packed into one $4.85 plastic Walmart tub? I don't know if I am just that sad and pathetic or if this is typical. Personally, I hope everyone else is as sad and pathetic as me.
Secondly I made 15 dollars at work tonight. I hate cheap bastards. Is it really too hard to pull a dollar out of the bottom of your purse or wallet? I thought not. Cheap bastardds.
To top my night off Ricky is over and he and Sarah are int eh kitchen doing the little giggle oohh--ahhh sugar pie honeybunch lind of crap. Don't get me wrong-- I like Ricky. Of all the boys running around I am glad Sarah brought him home. Still one should not be forced to suffer through young couples.

Potter Mania

Now I can understand Potter mania. I too have read Books 1-5 and am almost finish with Book 6. I too have discussed Ron and Harry at lunch and rooted for little Hermy because she basically kicks ass. Go girl power. But even I relieze there hs to be limits.
This summer the American pop group Harry and the Potters began there summer tour. Why, people, why? They loaded all their stuff into the "Potter Mobile" was full to the brim so they could "spread the word of Wizard Rock throughout the span of our epic continent, North America." The band consists of two brothers who were matching Harry Potter outfits.
The two brothers now have two cd's which they recorded in their parent's living room. The first is self titled while the second is brilliantly entitled " Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock!" Of course with song titles like Problem Solving Skillz ,My Teacher is a Werewolf, the Missing Arm of Viktor Krum, Cornelius Fudge is an Ass, and SPEW who could fail not to be intrested.
But on a more serious note it is people like this who make Trekkies look good. Do you know how hard it is to make a Trekkie look good? They speak Kilingon for goodness sake! But the important lesson here boys and girls is that this is what happens when teenage boys get no action.
For more information go to http://www.eskimolabs.com/hp/news.html

IIIMMMM Back

Hello my none existant readers. It has been months since I wrote but sadly I have lacked inspiration lately. Ok so I'm lazy. Well here is an update of my life:
1. I have a roommate. Her name is Melissa. From all appearant indications her middle name isn't Sundance Dawn, she is not preppy or goth, and there will be no three-somes between her, Spike, and Fang. Personally that comforts me although my dear friend Jack has assured me that the dorms at Semo are designed to be condusive to a sex free atmosphere. Darn.
2. Several of my dear friends have decided they want to get marrried. Among these are Bear, Rachel, Summer and Paul. Best of luck to all who are already married or working on it. Can't say I really understand but whatever. At least you will be getting laid alot and your taxes are about to get lowered. One word of sound advice though--- BIRTH CONTROL. Ok so it is two words.. so sue me.
3. I finally got to go to New Orleans. It was friggin' awesome. I loved it. More cities should be morally deprived. I think it is the olny place in the world, besides maybe Holand, that you can find a church, a Hustler, a gay bar and a fine French resturant all next door to each other. To paraphrase my 13 year old sister it was "rockin' awesome."
4. Congrats to Travis for placing first at national Beta Convention. He is such a cute dork. Seriously he reminds me of Richard from Beauty and the Geek, except he is cuter. Sadly he may have less social skills. Let this be a lesson to what happens when the brain develops faster than social skills. Ofcourse as opposed to Matt Brown who developed good social skills but no brain cells I suppose this could be looked at as a good thing. Side note: I really want to be one Beauty and the Geek. I could so kick ass, except at the whole rocket thing. But seriously who cares....
Well thats about it. More will be posted later about my life but currently I am hungry. Later dear friends...

40 Years of Flicks

I have now declared myself a movie critic and I have compiled for your viewing pleasure a list of the best 10 films of each decade. I just had to try it. So I went to Walmart, bought a really sexy blue and black pair, and wore it. The end results you ask? I now will swear by the buttstring. It is so comfortable and sexy. I recomend that all women try it at least once in their lives. You may not enjoy yours but I found mine very liberating.

Senior Trip

Yes, my adoring fans, I am finally back and writing again.I have missed you all. Ok well, Mare I missed you. I have finally returned from my last high school event- the grand, illustrious senior trip. For the past two years we have worked our butts off to achieve this milestone event- a week spent burning in hurricane destroyed Florida with thousands of bikini clad overweight grandmothers. Joy!
Ok well it wasn't really all that bad. I was kinda worried at first because the first thing we did in Florida was take a picture under the "WELCOME TO FLORIDA: THE SUNSHINE STATE" sign in the pouring rain. But things did get better from there. Plus I got to see some really cool stuff and spend a week with two of my best friends before we all depart ways and go to college. I suppose you are wondering what the point of this blog is so I will relieve your suspense. The point is to confirm or deny the popular myths about Florida.

Myth One: "There are really hot guys in Florida." TRUE.Ladies of the bootheel there is hope. I have never seen so many great looking guys in my whole life. But I must caution you- beware of the hairy chests. They can be quite scary.

Myth Two: "They can't read." FALSE. After the 2000 election there has been some concern for the education rate of Florida. Although I saw many less than intelligent people and they do have more money than common sense their redeeming grace is that they have a NASA space center down there.

Myth Three: "The best place on earth is the beach." FALSE. The beach is certainly a beautiful place and heavenly at night the great masses of sand, sharp rocks, and smelly salt water make it a place that most of us can live without. A couple of walks along the beach should suffice for many of us.

Myth Four: " Best eats in the world." FALSE/TRUE. Some of the food was really good but not the best and I recommend that you get your Chinese fill before you go.

Myth Five: "Florida is part of the United States." FALSE. This is an important memo. Florida is a property of Latin America and they have only given it to us on a loan basis. Spanish is the officially language down there, followed by British English, and Chinese.

A Small Tribute to a Great Man

Today Pope John Paul II died. Although I am not Cathlic I still feel the loss and I think these few words of honor can barely touch upon his greatness but I wnated to say them. Last weekend I had the pleasure of heading to Branson to compete at Beta convention. Yes sir the capital of brutalized country music, itself. Actually I was sadly excited because I never had been to Branson before. Plus I was going with Hannah, Bob, Mare, Murphy,JoNell, Keri, and Ms. Tinnon. I like the majority of these people, although I think it is ridiculous that we had to have a female sponsor.
I will be honest. It was the bomb. Bob met "The Guy." This man is her soul mate. He look and acts like Adam Brody- and he is a creative musician. Yeah he rocks. I am not sure exactly what his name is but who cares. Who wouldn't want to be known as "the guy." It makes you an automatic enigma.
I also made a hilarious attempt to use my feminine wiles on some poor unsuspecting nerd. Honestly I tried to get the hook up with the king of nerd- and the most adorable guy I have ever met. Sigh. Unforunitly after the initial one way phone number exchange my romance was over. To quote Vonnagan "So it goes." The scary aspect to all this is that Murphy was playing matchmaker. Do you know what that can do to a person? I mean seriously. Besides making the fatal mistake of letting him know ( yeah that will end up in CE class notes one day this man was finding me games to play as icebeakers and little tips and what not. Ok Murphy is the bomb but I may be suing for therapy one day.
To make my experience more perfect Han and I placed 3rd in our individual tests, so we both get to go to New Orleans this summer. Well I say what about the 90's? So much was happening that vh1 had to dedicade two "I love the 90's" to it. Now that to me in itself constitutes a great decade. These are several reasons why the 90's were awesome.
1. Great tv. I mean Superman was on and I was obsessed with that show. So was the X Files and Star Trek Next Generation.
2. Rap was still a baby. I mean who could fail to love "Baby Got Back" and "Ice Ice Baby?"
3.Madonna was wearing the pointed boobs and became a social icon once again.
4.Jesse Ventura was the gov. of Michigan.
5.Don't stone me but I loved Regis and Kathy Live. I did so take that Kelly.
6. Arnold was the Kintergarten Cop and not the Cal. gov.
7.Rugrats came out which is perhaps one of the greatest cartoons to come out in the last century. I mean Tommy's last name was Pickle. What ahppened to quality tv?
8.Bob- didn't Whats Eating Gilbert Grape come out in the 90's? So did the Animaniacs.
9.My close personal friend the Wonderbra made his first appearance.
10. We got to see Patrick Swayze as a woman in To Wong Foo.
11.Batman made its first great appearance.
12. Titanic came out this decade- although personally I found it lacking althought I would help Leo steam up that car any time he wanted.
13.One of the scariest movies ever- Urban Legend- came out. Stupid Noxiema actress.
14. Three words- Freaks and Geeks.
15. Birth of Boy bands. Say what you will but your heart once thumped at the sounds of Backstreet Boys.

These and many more are the reasons why I believe the 90's were a better decade than the 80's. After all what could be better than the generation that brought us Animaniacs and Freaks and Geeks?
9.

Top Ten Men Who Would Turn A Straight Woman Gay

This is my list of the top ten men who would turn a straight woman gay. If you are not familiar with them allow me to introduce you and my critic of a few of them. I would like to go into more detail but I am afraid I will end up with some bored psycho terrorist group with nothing better to do than hunt random bloggers down will come after me.
---1. Omar al- Bashir- Sudan
---2. Jim Kong Il- North Korea
---3. Than Shwe- Burma
---4. Hu Jintao- China
---5. Crown Prince Abdullah- Saudi Arabia
---6. Muammar al-Qaddafi- labia
---7. Pervez Musharraf- Pakistan
---8. Saparmurat Niyazov- Turkmenistan
---9. Robert Mugabe- Zimbabwe
---10. Teodoro Obiang Nguema- Equitorial Guinea.

These men have a few things if common besides being cruel, heartless dictators. They are all about 62 years old( apparently 60ish is the coming of age for dictators) and are ugly as dirt. Ol' Quaddafi looks like he come straight from the Jackson 5- complete with fro and drag queen makeup. Musharraf looks like a comic book character and Kim Jong Il- well lets say he has worn his hair the same way since 3rd grade and it was bad then. Almost all ten of them are obsessed with their own pics and statues- like it is a crime to mess with their picture. Besides lets face they are so anti- feminist that it is sickening. Very Nero-istic in that regard. Actually they all kinda remind me of Nero. Ten bonus points and a cookie to the person who can tell me who Nero is.;) Hint: He is roman.
I would like to continue my spiel but fear of the aforementioned terrorist group keeps me at bay. So I will simply bid you adieu.

The Pinnacle of the Seventh Grade World

I have recently come to the conclusion that for a seventh grader waking up each morning is like entering a brand new world and they are a brand new person with a new personality, new friends, and new enemies. Well the highlight of the 7th grade year is the Homecoming Dance. Personally I could do without the whole Homecoming thing. All it means to me is crazed cheerleaders, stressed adults, and hyper junior high kids.On top of it all lets add 6 million paper snowflakes. Despite all this however I went to the dance and I must confess that I was glad that I did. I had a great time, the DJ was great, and Bob and I danced the night away. Now let me tell you- Bob is a great dancer!! But all in all the whole dance was a smashing success. It was fairly clean, almost everybody was dancing, and we got most the teachers out there. Only one thing suprised me- the 7th graders didn't dance until the end of the night. I mean these girls put tons of hours into finding the right dress, the right date, the right hair, ect, ect. Then at the moment of truth they just sat there and smiled- and thus goes the world of the 7th grade.

New Year Resolution

Following the traditional pattern I have completed my annual list of resolutions that I will not accomplish but I will yet attempt to.
1. Loose weight( I wish this every year but this year it is of upmost importance since I will be spending a week in Florida with babes like Ashley S.)
2. Clean out my closet. To my knowledge there is at least two dead mice and a boogy man living in there- not to mention some remaining evidence of my total Martha Steward wardrobe days.
3. Read through one classical Russian book. I get about 12 chapters in and I want to commit suicide.
4. Do something wild on senior trip. As to what is still the X factor but it is in the works.
5. Get my drivers license- it is kinda past due.
6. Give John Paul a swirly.
7. Pass AP.
8. Kiss at least one boy this school year.
9. Go to National History Day.
10. Find a prom date.
11. Buy a rap cd
12. Buy some sexy lingerie.
13. Learn at least 3 French phrases.
14. For those of you who are not familiar with the tradition, allow me to define it for you. It is where groups of females spend the night at another females home. Naturally there is a lot of food, corny movies that should never be watched with a lot of chocolate, and games such as Trivial Pursuit. ( One note should be made: only myself and my nerdy friends play Trivial Pursuit as far as I know.)
Well at my last sleepover it was Bob, Hannah, and I. We were celebrating the end of finals and welcoming Christmas break. Well low and behold it happened to be the same weekend that Robert Bear Parker Jr. was coming home. Allow me to set this scene up for you. Bobbie and I were in her room eating popcorn and chili-cheese dip( a deadly combination but so sinfully good.) while waiting for Hannah to get there so we could pig out and watch Wayne's World. In the meantime we are listening to music and chatting online with Jack( who is perhaps the coolest of our guy friends due to the fact he is a genius anarchist who is waging a jihad on vegetables.)when Bobby arrived at Jack's house and took over his computer.
When Bobby found out that we were having a sleepover, he practically invited himself and Jack over. Now at the moment this was all occurring I was not objecting too hardly. I have been half in love with this man for years and my heart always did that little flutter thing when I thought I would get to see him, even if he wasn't really invited. Well the next couple of minutes were spent in a blur due to the fact that Hannah arrived and Hannah always arrives in a whirl of activity. Now picture the scene- three girls all clad in pj bottoms, eating popcorn (at least eating what little we didn't throw.) and jumping around laughing and joking. We were expecting the guys much, much later but all of a sudden they just walk in to Bob's room. Her ROOM. Can you say awkward?
Well the rest of the evening basically consisted of the following situtation: Parker flirted with Bobbie then Jack, in response, flirted with Bobbie and made semi- aggressive jokes with Parker. Gag. But at least Jack was extremely humorous. Parker was just a pain in the ***. But to top it off he was mean to me and was horrible to Hannah. To be honest I deserved better than that and so does Han. All he wanted to do was flirt and make passes at the one girl who didn't care a fig about him.
Now I am a pretty passive person but after I am angry that is it. I was angry so for any of you who care to know I officially am over Robert Parker. I finally got tired of him playing me like a fiddle and am done with him.( At this point I know all of my friends are dancing a jig.)

Lies People Tell You

I have discovered throughout my short life that there are a few very common lies people tell you. They are:
1. Despite contrary belief babies are not made by kisses. At least not lip kisses.
2. Senior year is not the best year. It is the worst.
3. You can't do everything you dream of. I dream of dating Orlando Bloom and being a pop singer. But in order to be a pop singer you have to either be a size 0 blonde or have talent. I have neither.
4. The tooth fairy isnt real.
5. If you make a funny face, it will not freeze that way.
6. Boyfriends are not all they are cracked up to be.
7. There is nothing amgical about turning 16.
8. Jobs suck.
9. Not everyone gets laid at Prom.

People who should never be allowed in the Great River Chinese restaurant

In my current career as a waitress I am unfortunate enough to meet a variety of people who shouldn't be allowed in public, much less in a Chinese restaurant. If you catch any behavior that you might be participating in, please do us all a favor and stick with KFC food.
a. People who insist on eating in A1. What is so special about this table that you must isolate yourself from the rest of the world? The reason we don't seat you there is because we don't want to clean that whole front area up. Duh!
b. Those groups that sit at the back table. If you desire to sit there then you are usually ill mannered, messy, and a non-tipper. This is the gross persons table.
c. Non-tippers. Period. I make $2.15 an hour people! I need that dollar you leave.
d. People with horrible kids. Please do not allow your children to throw bowls of rice, lo mien, and/or jello. None of this items come off the floor. EVER!!!
e. People who think a tip comes in penny or nickel form. Come on people.
f. People who make lame jokes and expect you to laugh. Then if you don't laugh they think you are stupid.
g. People who ask you how tall the Great Wall is and/or if you can speak Chinese.
h.People who inform you there is no food on the buffet. That might be because we aren't open yet. Again Duh!
I. People who get up and get their own drink. Can you please be patient people? I promise I will get to you and that I have not forgotten you.

My life goals

This is the first of my stolen ideas. This is where I had a case of temorary obsession about Travis from Bell City, Actually it isn't all that temporary. I have thought he was cute for 3 years now, but I recently decided that I would try and entice his intrest. Well he totally blew me off, so needless to say Bob and I are gathering various materials that are needed for making a Travis voodoo doll. The nice thing about having a large ego is that you can easily blame the situation on the other person. It was kinda sad through, I had high hopes for Travis and for some reason I hate being alone at Christmas. Any other time I am quite content to be single but I really kinda had hoped to be with my own dorkable this holiday season. I am sure by this point you are wondering about the point of this large ramble, aren't you? Well the point is that this is why we should all date dumb jocks. Men with brains are too hard too find, too hard to hint to, and impossible to keep.
